We are particularly excited about our partnership with Rural Homes, a pilot project to build new workforce housing in rural Colorado. Rural Homes integrates donated land, prefabricated, panelized home design, and low-cost construction financing to provide our region’s essential workforce: teachers, medical professionals, immigrants, and federal employees that earn between 60-120% of Area Median Income (AMI).

Rural Homes aims to inform and refine a model that minimizes the cost of building single-family homes to be replicated and scaled across rural Colorado. By adding new building stock to a housing market saturated with old, dilapidated houses or inflated vacation rental markets, Rural Homes addresses vital determinants of public health and long-term economic sustainability in the region.
